Adventures are all about comfortable shoes, cute hair and a backpack – shared in excitement with the ones that you love. This month, the eclectic architecture and historical beauty took us to London and while we have obviously been to London quite a few times, we have failed to do touristy things like ride the pose for pictures at every attraction.
And so, we got up at 6AM and headed to Birmingham to catch the earliest train out to London (which by the way, I booked last minute and I still paid £29 return!). After grabbing breakfast in a small little cafe with a broken toilet, we headed to Hyde Park, exploring literally every inch and even went on a little paddle boat where it seems that I should pick everybody but my better half to do the rowing if I ever needed to escape.
You know what the best thing to do in London is for sight-seeing? Get on those ugly, massive busses that offer rides around the entire city on a hop-on-hoop-off basis, because even though they are a bit pricey, you are guaranteed to see all of London without a doubt. We got on this bus and even though we didn’t visit half as many places as we wanted to, we still managed to spend a full 7 hours sight-seeing!
You know when you plan an outfit for ages, but things happen and you change it into comfier clothes? That was me. I had heeled boots, but my feet hurt after Hyde Park and so I changed to my trusty and beat up white Converse. We honestly did so much walking that we had a feast in China Town and continued walking even after all the shops had closed, admittedly to head back to Trafalgar Square to catch Pokemon!
